Welcome to the Sovereign Independent. Ireland’s only Truth Newspaper!

This website is currently under ongoing re-construction and, among other things, will provide visitors with information regarding the progress of the next issue of the newspaper and an opportunity to purchase copies on an individual basis or by the bundle for distribution.

Also, there will be historical information about the Sovereign Independent, its origins, goals and aspirations.

This new website will provide information about the Constitution of Ireland and the fact that the very name ‘Sovereign Independent’ was lifted from both the Irish Proclamation of Independence and also from Article 5 of the Irish Constitution providing the most poignant name possible for an Independent Irish newspaper. Downloads of the constitution are also provided.

There will be other downloads in the download section, mainly in PDF format, which will address other related issues.

New Concept

As you can see, this website is a totally different concept to the Sovereign Independent website of the past, for various reasons which will be addressed later in this article.  However, I would just like to point you in the direction of One World Scam, who have now taken over from where the Sovereign Independent have left off in delivering online news. One World Scam were instrumental in getting the Sovereign Independent off the ground in the early days, and was always one of my favourite truth sites on the web. Myself and the One World Scam team will always be close associates and there will be continuing collaboration between us. Contrary to what some may be led to believe, myself and the One World Scam team are still the very best of friends, and the Sovereign Independent still lives.

Why the Changes in the Sovindo camp?

To answer the question, the previous Sovereign Independent website became too unwieldy and cumbersome and extremely hard to manage. The combination of the physical newspaper, the daily updating of articles for the website, the conferences that were being organised and the thousands of emails which we received in a weekly basis, as well as Sovereign Independent Radio which existed for a short time, made it increasingly difficult to keep everything afloat when most of the members had families to spend time with, full-time jobs to attend and various other circumstances and issues to deal with. Unfortunately, even though we tried many ways to finance the hosting of the website it was clear that not enough funding was coming in to pay these fees.

The site visitorship was massive. It was exponential. We were getting upwards of nearly a terabyte a month in traffic to the site – which many would consider ‘not a bad complaint’ but from our standpoint it was actually a big problem in the context of maintaining the website. Hosting fees were astronomical and it got to the stage where certain members were having to pay these fees out of their own pockets, which, on top of  family commitments in an era of engineered austerity made the whole Sovereign Independent project nearly impossible to manage and there were many occasions where we seriously considered ‘hanging up our boots’, as it were,  and shutting the whole lot down.

Instead, we mutually agreed to break the whole project down into its individual components and carry on delivering truth news in a reformed way. It was myself who gave birth to the concept of an Irish independent newspaper and with solid collaboration with the guys at One World Scam we managed to achieve the seemingly impossible, we produced a real independent truth newspaper!  So, what is happening now is that, we are going back to past a little bit. Back to our roots. One World Scam have now experienced a rebirth and are delivering the same online news which the Sovindo once did, while I myself , with some assistance of various other people, including, at times, One World Scam, am continuing with the physical newspaper only. And this website is intended to purely support the newspaper. And of course I would certainly welcome suggestions and assistance from others who feel they have something to offer to the Sovereign Independent.

We feel this is a progressive move forward because it is going to be far more manageable, far more focused, and therefore far more productive than ever before.

In Conclusion

The Sovereign Independent website will now be dealing purely with the physical hard-copy newspaper and will simply be a vehicle for that paper, offering progress reports and easy options for purchase of newspapers.

The new Sovereign Independent website provides a very clean, clear and bright interface which is easily navigable with traditional familiar features designed to make the visitor feel at home immediately.  It is a more friendly environment which focuses on the content and aims to deliver to the site visitor all the information possible regarding the physical newspaper, including videos, pictures, background and contact information. I feel that progress reports are imperative to make the site visitor feel part of it. In the past many people asked questions as to how we are getting on with the next edition. With the regular progress reports  there will be no question as to what stage the paper is at, and it will hopefully encourage people to contribute to the process of the creation of the next issue of the newspaper. As time goes by, this site will get more and more polished up – it will always be an ongoing process, and it will be you, the readers, who will make that happen
